CARL maintains a number of communication lists that are available to all members of the academic library community working in these areas:
CARL E-lert / Cyberavis de l’ABRC is a weekly bulletin of recent news and publications related to research libraries, released every Thursday. Anyone can sign up to receive the E-lert.
BIBLIOMET-CARL-L is the Bibliometrics and Research Impact Discussion List, which is open to anyone working or interested in the areas of bibliometric and research impact assessment.
REPOS-L is the Repositories in Libraries Discussion List which is open to anyone involved in the management of open repositories in Canadian libraries and academic and scholarly organizations.
SCHOLCOMM-CARL-L is the Scholarly Communication in Academic Libraries Discussion List which is open to anyone in Canadian libraries and academic and scholarly organizations who is involved or interested in scholarly communications.
COMMS-CARL-L is the Communications Officers Community of Practice Discussion List which is open to anyone in Canadian libraries and academic and scholarly organizations who is involved or interested in library communications.
