The CARL Assessment Committee’s Continuing Education Working Group is pleased to host the following panel on library assessment perspectives, the first in a series of webinars to be hosted throughout the year in lieu of an in-person Canadian Library Assessment Workshop in the fall of 2021.
During this one-hour panel discussion our three panelists will discuss their perspectives on library assessment, including how research differs from evaluation, selecting appropriate methodologies, and qualitative approaches to library assessment, followed by a question-and-answer period.
Presenters
Mary-Jo Romaniuk, Vice Provost for Libraries and Cultural Resources and University Librarian at the University of Calgary, member of CARL’s Assessment Committee, and Chair of CARL’s Continuing Education Working Group.
Lorie Kloda, Associate University Librarian, Planning & Community Relations, at Concordia University, and member of CARL’s Continuing Education Working Group.
Shailoo Bedi, Director, Student Academic Success, University of Victoria, and member of CARL’s Assessment Committee.
NOTE: Speakers will be presenting in English. A recording of the webinar will also be posted after the event.
