Evidence Synthesis Institute Canada, which piloted in 2022, will be offered again in Spring 2023. ESI Canada is based on the original Evidence Synthesis Institute (which is a US Institute of Museum and Library Services-supported program geared towards providing training on evidence synthesis). The Institute is aimed at library staff primarily supporting evidence syntheses in topics outside of the health sciences and will cover:
- overview of systematic reviews and similar methodologies,
- guidelines and standards,
- search strategy development,
- software/tools,
- screening, and
- systematic review services
The 2023 version of Evidence Synthesis Institute Canada is brought to you by a partnership between the Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL) and University of Victoria Libraries.
The Institute is planned to run virtually from April 17-20, 2023. The Institute will run from 12-5pm ET / 9am-2pm PT each day.
If you have any questions about the Institute, please reach out to Zahra Premji ().
