June 11, 2019 – The Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL) is creating a series of video-based modules designed to educate faculty and staff at Canadian universities about copyright.
With graphics and artwork by Giulia Forsythe, these bilingual videos and interactive quizzes will be openly available online and will be an easy and reliable solution for universities searching for an alternative to in-person copyright sessions. Institutions can choose to adopt the modules “as is” or customize and brand the content for their purposes. The modules will be adapted from the “Copyright Literacy for Ontario College Employees” copyright modules.
This project is being managed by a group of librarians and copyright specialists from university libraries across Canada.
