CARL’s Submission to the Consultation on Options for Reform of the Copyright Board of Canada

October 4, 2017. – The Canadian Association of Research Libraries has released their submission to the Consultation on Options for Reform of the Copyright Board of Canada, that is being jointly undertaken by Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada, Canadian Heritage, and the Copyright Board of Canada. The CARL submission acknowledges and supports the CFLA submission, and offers a short set of recommendations that CARL believes are most germane for research libraries’ interests.

CARL would like to thank authors Mark Swartz and Howard Knopf, as well as Graeme Campbell, Lise Brin, and the CARL Policy Committee for their work on this submission.
