Evidence Synthesis Institute Canada

ESI Canada is based on the original Evidence Synthesis Institute (which is a US Institute of Museum and Library Services-supported program geared towards providing training on evidence synthesis). The Institute is aimed at library staff primarily supporting evidence syntheses in topics outside of the health sciences and will cover:

  • overview of systematic reviews and similar methodologies,
  • guidelines and standards,
  • search strategy development,
  • software/tools,
  • screening, and
  • systematic review services

The 2023, 2024 and 2025 versions of Evidence Synthesis Institute Canada are brought to you by a partnership between the Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL) and University of Victoria Libraries.
