Please join us for the 2022 Canadian Web Archiving Symposium, hosted by the Canadian Web Archiving Coalition (CWAC) and generously sponsored by the Canadian Association of Research Libraries.
This virtual symposium will take place over two days and will include a keynote speaker and extensive community discussion about web archiving in Canada. We will focus on how to move forward together in ways that are supportive and inclusive, how best to meet the evolving needs of our various stakeholders and communities, and what the CWAC can do at the national level to support practitioners and coordinate collection development.
Day 1: Keynote
We are arranging for an exciting keynote that will speak to ‘the future of web archiving’. Stay tuned for more details.
Day 2: Building community
On Day 2, we’ll be engaging in discussions to help move our efforts forward in Canada. Here’s the agenda:
- Introduction and overview (15 minutes)
- Problem statement one with breakout discussions (30 minutes)
- Break (15 minutes)
- Problem statement two with breakout discussions (30 minutes)
- Where do we go from here (30 minutes)
