Save the Date: Academic Libraries’ Leadership Institute – June 10-16, 2024

Following a successful inaugural institute in 2022, the Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL) is pleased to announce that it will be offering the Academic Libraries’ Leadership Institute (ALLI) in 2024.

The week-long cohort style training program will once again take place at Memorial University and dates have been tentatively set for June 10-16, 2024.

Developed by the Gardiner Centre, the engagement arm of the Faculty of Business Administration at Memorial University, with input from CARL directors and senior academic library leaders, the program has been tailored specifically for senior academic library leaders, to assist their growth so that they are well positioned to lead Canada’s academic libraries into the future. This rich and engaging program will enhance critical leadership capabilities, teach valuable new skills and help build strong networks across the country – all in an enjoyable and unique setting on the eastern edge of Canada.

Note that the program will be delivered in English but that supporting materials will be available in both English and French in advance of the institute.

See call for participants for more details.
