Canadian Library Assessment Workshop

The Canadian Library Assessment Workshop (CLAW) is a CARL initiative designed to support libraries in developing outcomes-based assessment practices. Through hands-on workshops, knowledge sharing, and discussions on emerging trends, CLAW helps library professionals move beyond traditional input and output metrics to better demonstrate library impact on research, teaching, and learning.

The Librarians’ Research Institute (LRI) is a CARL initiative designed to support academic librarians in Canada as they advance their research and scholarly publishing. Led by experienced librarian-researchers serving as Peer Mentors, the LRI fosters a collaborative environment where participants engage in meaningful discussions, receive guidance, and build connections with other researching librarians across Canada.

The Academic Libraries’ Leadership Institute (ALLI) is a CARL program designed to support senior academic library leaders in developing critical leadership skills, strategic planning abilities, and strong professional networks.
