CARL LPCET “Library Publishing Links” Program
August 26, 2026 – The CARL Library Publishing Community Engagement Team (LPCET) invites colleagues working in library publishing to participate in its peer-to-peer chat program, an opportunity to connect informally with colleagues at other institutions and build relationships with others working in library publishing roles across Canada.
Following a successful pilot, the program is expanding in 2026–2027. Participants will be matched with up to four colleagues for informal virtual conversations throughout the year, with a different match for each quarterly meetup. These 30-minute to one-hour conversations provide an opportunity to share experiences, discuss current work, exchange ideas, and get to know colleagues across the library publishing community.
How it works
- Register by September 17, 2026 by completing the registration form.
- Participants will be matched with up to four other colleagues.
- Watch your inbox for an email with your match details.
- Connect with your match and arrange a time to meet virtually.
The program is intended to be informal and participant-led. Conversations can focus on your work, experiences, challenges, ideas, or anything else that would help you connect with colleagues working in library publishing.
