Call for Expressions of Interest – CARL Canadian Assessment Community of Practice

February 24, 2025 – The Canadian Association of Research Libraries’ (CARL) Impact and Assessment Continuing Education Working Group invites expressions of interest to join its newly created Canadian Assessment Community of Practice (CoP).

The purpose of this community of practice is to engage library workers based in CARL and non-CARL research libraries, who have a strong interest or functional responsibilities in assessment, and provide a forum to discuss issues, initiatives, challenges and opportunities for collaboration.

The CoP planning group (see Terms of Reference) will support the planning of quarterly community calls and other forms of community engagement for the CoP.

CARL is committed to providing a welcoming, safe, and harassment-free environment and CoP members will be subject to the CARL Code of Conduct

Should you wish to join this community of practice, please fill out the registration form by March 17, and you will be added to the Canadian Assessment Community of Practice listserv, where updates about CoP activities will be circulated.
