June 5, 2025 – The Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL)’s Digital Preservation Working Group (DPWG) is now welcoming expressions of interest from 2–3 additional members from small to medium-sized organizations. In expanding its membership, the DPWG seeks to broaden the perspectives represented in its work.
The DPWG plays a key role in advising and planning national-level projects and initiatives related to digital preservation. Members meet monthly and collaborate on activities that support the advancement of preservation practices and capacity across Canada.
This is a valuable opportunity to contribute to national efforts, share your organization’s experiences, and help shape the future of digital preservation in Canada. Your organization is not expected to be a member of CARL, and selection will be made with the goal of ensuring diversity of members across institutional size and location.
