October 22, 2024 – The Canadian Association of Research Libraries’ Bibliometrics and Research Impact Community of Practice is currently seeking lightning talk proposals for our upcoming Lightning Talk Community Call on Thursday, December 5th, from 1:00 – 2:00 pm ET. This session will offer a fantastic opportunity for you to share your insights, experiences, and ideas with fellow community members.
We are currently accepting abstracts for 5-minute presentations, each focusing on one key idea. To inspire you, here are a few potential topics:
- Quick Tip or Demonstration: Share a useful tip or demonstrate a tool or technique.
- Project Highlights: Present a project, achievement, or lesson that others may find interesting.
- Addressing a Challenge: Discuss an organizational or individual challenge and how you resolved it.
- Call to Action: Encourage the community to adopt positive practices or avoid harmful ones.
- Pose a Question: Present a question for the community to explore together.
- Storytelling: Share a meaningful story with a takeaway message.
