Invitation to Provide Feedback on Scholaris Expert Group Draft Recommendations
July 22, 2026 – The Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL) is pleased to share several draft recommendations developed to support the successful implementation and adoption of the Scholaris service.
Prepared by the Scholaris Metadata and Discovery Expert Group and the Scholaris Digital Preservation Expert Group, these draft documents reflect extensive analysis and collaboration by members of both groups. While the recommendations focus on the Scholaris service, feedback is welcomed from all members of the Canadian repository community to help ensure they meet the needs of both Scholaris users and the broader community.

Please note that the draft documents are currently available in English only; however, comments are welcome in both English and French.
Community members are invited to review the drafts and provide feedback by commenting directly on the documents no later than August 10, 2026.
