June 5, 2024 – The Canadian Association of Research Libraries’ (CARL) Impact Committee is pleased to extend the following call for members of its Continuing Education Working Group (Continuing Ed WG).
The objective of the Continuing Ed WG is to collaboratively support and facilitate the use of assessment tools in research libraries, and to encourage the use of evidence to strengthen the profile and services of libraries (see terms of reference for more information).
In addition to library professionals, CARL welcomes participation from researchers interested in supporting the assessment of research libraries. Library professionals do not have to be assessment librarians. Members should have a strong interest in assessment measures and tools for evidence-based decision-making.
This working group reports to CARL’s Impact Committee and will be chaired by Shahira Khair, Data Curation and Organizational Analysis Librarian, University of Victoria, and a member of the Impact Committee.
Members will be invited to join the working group in August 2024.
Expressions of interest which include a short supporting narrative as to qualifications should be sent to Julie Morin, CARL Senior Program Officer (). We also ask that you please inform your University Librarian about your interest in joining this group.
The deadline to submit expressions of interest is June 27, 2024.
