June 5, 2025 – The Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL) is pleased to announce changes to its Board of Directors, following the 2025 Spring Members’ Meeting.
CARL warmly welcomes two new members to its Board:

Both bring valuable regional perspectives and a deep commitment to advancing research libraries in Canada.

As President, Brett Waytuck has provided thoughtful and inclusive leadership over the past two years. His extensive experience across public, government, and academic libraries has enriched CARL’s work. We thank him for his leadership, service, and dedication to CARL’s mission.
