April 3, 2025 – The Canadian Association of Research Libraries (CARL), the University of Regina’s Dr. John Archer Library and Archives, and the program planning committee invite proposals for the 2025 Canadian Library Assessment Workshop (CLAW) to be held in-person in Regina, Saskatchewan from October 27-28, 2025.
CLAW advances CARL’s mission to support and develop outcomes-based measures to demonstrate library impact on research, teaching and learning, through the delivery of assessment-related programming, information sharing and support for relevant research. The workshop will be developed to interest a range of academic and research libraries engaged in assessment at various levels of experience (see past programs for more information).
We welcome submissions from all library colleagues (you do not need to be an assessment professional to submit a proposal) and from non-CARL colleagues. Presentations will be delivered in English; slides and supporting materials will be translated into French and made available in advance to support bilingualism.

- Panels discussions, workshops, active learning sessions (60 min in length)
- Short presentation (20 min in length)
- Lightning talks (5 min in length)
