March 5, 2025- The Association internationale francophone des bibliothécaires et documentalistes is pleased to announce financial assistance for professionals from Canadian universities interested in participating in the 9th edition of their summer school in information sciences, through the collaboration of the Canadian Association of Research Libraries Association of Canada.
The theme of the 2025 summer school is discoverability and visibility of francophone content. Therefore, financial assistance is directed primarily, but not exclusively, to colleagues working at a Canadian university outside of Quebec. It must be used for travel and accommodation expenses (registration remains at the applicant’s own expense or that of their institution).
Interested colleagues must submit their application by April 5, including:
- A short text detailing their motivation to participate in this Summer School
- A budget request including the cost of their travel and accommodation.
Applications that include funding sharing with the applicant’s institution will be prioritized to support more scholarships.
